Canva is an amazingly easy to use design tool to create a wide variety of your own designs!

You can start by choosing from a wide variety of templates such as:

  • Trending
  • Various Social Media templates
  • Logos
  • Posters
  • Animated Social Media
  • Presentations
  • Videos, and many more.

You can also start from nothing with a blank canvas and choosing your own custom size.

In the design window itself you get access to various tools:

  • Uploads allow you to add any photo of your choice to use in your design.
  • Photos give you a wide range of high-quality photos to choose from.
  • Elements contain different sections like grids, shapes, frames, stickers, charts, gradients, lines, and many more different objects.
  • The Text button allows you to add text boxes. You can select from different templates or use any of the wide variety of fonts available.
  • The Video button gives you access to a wide range of moving video backgrounds for your design.
  • Canva also have a variety of different background to use, or you can use the colour picker to choose a colour background.
  • The more button give you access to music, charts, and styles. As well as apps and integrations.

Design Tools

Working tools in Canva consists of colour and font options, positioning, and adjusting transparency. You can also add a URL as a link. Or copy a style or duplicate your design.

You can download your design or share it with someone else as a link to edit.

Canva stores all your designs for you under All Your Designs.

This makes it easy to access and edit it again at a later stage. You can easily make a copy of any design if you want to create something new using the same elements.

Learning

The Learn tab gives access to a variety of courses and tutorials. As well as blog posts about design, marketing, and branding.

Pricing

You can use Canva for FREE, giving you access to 8000+ free templates, 100+ design types and thousands of free photos and graphics.

You can also pay per element if it is locked in for pro users and you don’t want to upgrade to a paid plan.
